It come after the country experienced a surge in cases in recent years, fuelled by adult women who weren't previously thought to be able to have ADHD now levelling the diagnosis field. But last week one expert came out to claim the rise in diagnoses is, in part, due to ADHD now becoming "trendy”, angering advocates and people living with the disorder who say it’s damaging, dismissive and fuelling societal stigma.
