About the episode
The draft is huge for the NFL and NBA. Not just for the players and clubs, but the hardcore fans, the media and leagues who reap the commercial rewards from the massive public interest. But is it working for the AFL? In the wake of the AFL's two night draft extravaganza, Warren Tredrea dished out his one word assessment: BORING! In this week's podcast, Tredders talks about why the AFL and other Australian leagues can't achieve NFL-like excitement for the draft. More importantly, we also look in to the draft system and talk about whether it is fair for players and clubs. We also chat about the apparent 'go home factor' and many other big issues associated with the draft and player movement. Got a question for the next Talkback With Tredders episode?
