Whether it's breaking news, big stories, opinion or controversy, the appetite for AFL content from fans is insatiable. But the world of footy media can be tough to understand for fans on the outside looking in, consuming the content but not seeing what goes on behind the scenes to make it happen. Over more than a decade, Mitch has established himself as one of the most respected AFL journalists, winning the Clinton Grybas Rising Star Award at the 2014 Australian Football Media Awards, and also winning the 2019 Best Feature Writer Award at the AFMAs. After working for the Geelong Advertiser, Crocmedia and the AFL's media arm, Mitch moved across to Seven in 2021 to spearhead the network’s footy news.
