About the episode

Last year, Perth toddler Sandipan Dhar tragically died from undiagnosed leukaemia after multiple hospital visits. His parents allege their repeated requests for a blood test were ignored. A coronial inquest, which started last week, examined whether an earlier blood test could have detected the illness in time to save his life. Sandipan’s parents say they are now hopeful the findings will provide some long-awaited answers.
