Just like that, footy season is back—and so is Neds AFL Unpopular Opinions, back for a fourth season, t(wo more and we're free agents!(  Joining us once again are Tom Rockliff and Alastair Lynch—two actual ex-players with respectable careers—alongside Dylan Leach, Neds’ resident nuffie, who’s still somehow allowed behind a microphone. Together, we’re diving headfirst into the AFL season madness that awaits us. To kick things off, we break down what we liked (and didn’t like) from the pre-season, tear apart Port Adelaide’s coaching succession plan between Ken Hinkley and Josh Carr (spoiler: it’s a ticking time bomb), and throw out some very well-researched predictions for the 2025 season. Oh, and with Cyclone Alfie threatening to derail the Lions-Cats season opener, Dylan goes deep into the history books to look at other times Mother Nature and other malfunctions messed with footy.
