About the episode

It has been another weird seven days for Philadelphia 76ers Nation. The Sixers had been winners of 20 of their last 24 games, climbing the Eastern Conference, and solidifying their position as a top-four team in the East. They looked like a true force to be reckoned with, and while they still do on any given night, losses to the Orlando Magic and New York Knicks made them look tired. Thankfully, the NBA All-Star Break is approaching. Joel Embiid and James Harden were not named All-Star starters. Embiid was named as a reserve, but is it possible that our dynamic duo could use a rest. That will be discussed by Adio Royster and David Early on this episode of “Out of Site”. Speaking of dynamic duos, there is a new pair in Dallas as the Brooklyn Nets traded All-Star guard Kyrie Irving to the Dallas Mavericks for Spencer Dinwiddie, Dorian Finney-Smith and draft picks. How does this trade make the Brooklyn Nets look both now and when Kevin Durant returns from injury. The Nets are currently fourth in the Eastern Conference. While they are still formidable with Durant and a good supporting cast (cast members who will be available on most nights unlike Kyrie), how much of a threat do they pose? All that plus some bet ideas on Super Bowl 57 between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs. #GoBirds! Peace, love and Sixers! Learn more about your ad choices.
