January 26th, 2001. San Francisco, California. Diane Whipple was returning to her apartment after running errands when she was fatally attacked by her neighbor’s dog. Diane, her partner, and several residents were fearful of this dog and worried about being attacked. Two months later, both of the dog’s owners were charged in relation to Diane’s death.
