About the episode

Real heater coming at you this week as we continue our Underbelly series, a deep dive into gangsters, true crime and disturbing happenings. We have a doozy this week as we head down to South Australia for some of Australia's more gruesome crimes. We hear all about the repulsive Family Murders that may have been organised by a cabal of Adelaide's rich and powerful. We dig into Snowtown, one of Australia's most famous series of murders that put the town of Snowtown on the map for all the wrong reasons. Finally we uncover the mystery of the Somerton Man, a man found on a beach with no identity that went unsolved for decades. Was he an undercover Russian spy? A touring ballet dancer? We find out through the magic of DNA. This is a red hot ep. Should probably go without saying but there's a content warning for this episode. The Family Murders and Snowtown are pretty grisly and if you don't want to hear about them skip ahead to the mystery of the Somerton Man.  Get it on all pod apps. We also have a Patreon. You can access bonus episodes featuring more great Community Noticeboard content for $5 a month. Check the link below for bonus eps, merch and all our socials.
