About the episode

Nina Oyama is a comedian, writer and actress who scored her first TV writing job at age 19. She is responible for a lot of funny television. Nina is not a gentle or family-friendly comedian. What she is, though, is filthy, whip-smart and screamingly funny. Nina's journey starts at the prestigious North Sydney Girls School, where she was always the odd one out. She was the kid doing flips in the schoolyard and seeking attention wherever she could find it. She initially aspired to be a physiotherapist, but the pressure of school pushed her into stand-up comedy, where she found her true calling. From bombing at comedy gigs to her boyfriend dumping her on her 18th birthday, Nina's journey is as entertaining as it is unconventional.  Tune in to discover how Nina went from being the "weird kid" to a rising star in the comedy world, all while embracing her unique quirks and never shying away from a good laugh.
